TOPIC:

Went on a 3 day perch charter same as last year for jumbo perch. The 1st day fished 6 spots 25 to 30 miles from Marblehead in Canada, Northeast of Pelee, for large jumbos. Caught 53 perch 8 to 10 1/2 inches. Next 2 days fished in Ohio waters around Rattlesnake Island area (30 to 50 boats). Limited both days, 8 to 10 inches. 353 fish with a live weight of 105 lbs. A lot of fast action with doubles. Last year a majority of the 365 fish were 12 inches to 15 inches and twice the total weight of this year. Jumbos not in yet to water temperature. Captain said as soon as water temperature starts to drop the jumbos should start showing up. Good trip both years.

Nice report. Glad you got into them. Can you share the name of the charter? Might be something some of us may want to look into next year.
