Invited to participate in a tournament at Zancudo Lodge a couple of weeks ago. Not as good as a Southenders tournament but something to do in the winter.

Couple of teams in the tournament flying in on their corporate/private jets and just about everyone fishes around the world. One guy asked me where I was from (told me he owned 17 companies) so I said Indiana and he said "Why? You can't ski or fish" and walked away. Most where good people just live in a completely different world......Did spend a fair amount of time with a nice couple (wife every bit as hardcore fishing as he is) that own 5 shrimp boats down in the Gulf and have a 54' Bertram for their tournament fishing. Hoping to get an invite on that!  On their way to the Galapagos this month to fish for 1,000lbs blue marlin. Can't even imagine.

Hahahah sometimes I wonder why (usually in the winter?) Why we live here as well. Those people live in a different world than us. Did you tell them about our tournaments? Lol
