My son and I killed them on Pine. We catch them annually but this year was special with larger than normal fish. Too bad the ice is now unsafe and likely the season is over. In LaPorte we have set a record with over 130” of snow and that killed our ice. On Pine we never had more than 4” of ice. With the temps we had I would have expected 12” plus but not this year.

Thanks guys! Yeah days like that are great for hooking the little guy on fishing. I think he’s already there but every good trip helps. I love the color of inland lake Perch. They are great looking fish and a blast to catch on 3lb test with a noodle ice rod.
