First of all a big thank you to the guy in the decked out black pontoon at Sammie Maletta Marina yesterday for telling me about this forum. Sorry I didn't catch your name but thank you, I have been looking for a forum just like this one!

Avid Indiana fisherman my whole life, but just now getting into fishing the big lakes. Upgraded my boat last fall so I can now make it out and feel fairly comfortable and safe. I went out a couple of times last fall and I have been out 4 times this spring so far. Still, a rookie and have I have a lot to learn. But each time out between trial and error and helpful people at the launch I am slowing learning. Yesterday 4/8/20 was my best day hands down and I was able to share a day on the water with two of my brothers. Anyway, I look forward to reading and learning from this forum and for now, I can at least post fishing reports! I look forward to learning and cannot wait until the summer and hopefully landing some big kings!
