Welcome! Happy to have you here. I fished st joe for a number of years and the one thing that stands out there compared to indiana is underwater current

Welcome! I have a great friend that fishes out of St Joe and he's been going out and setting rods at least an hour before sunrise. Since the warm water has pushed the cold water out and down deep I'd suggest running out to 140 fow and check temps down. I saw a recent post about not finding cool water until they got to 160 fow and 90 ft down. But the best thing you can do is get there and setup at least an hour before sunrise.
