Anyone read the article? Lots of dead Perch found near US Steel. I have a link but don't know how to attach. It made Chicago News yesterday. What the heck happened there?

I think they jumped the gun with this one. No one has actually verified any dead perch. Numerous people went searching the slips and found nothing. MC Angler has been posting videos of perch upwellings or boils, that have occurred numerous times this winter in the slips, where they are very much alive. But if you screen shot the video it looks like a pile of dead perch.

They are very much alive. That is crazy!! I could see the birds making a killing out of that scenario though.

To add a youtube video, just paste the link in the body of your message. The system will auto detect it.

It'd be really great if someone did have a youtube link they could paste - so far everything I have is a facebook video, which is tough to share with folks that do not have facebook

Lots more people coming forward with pics or videos of these perch boils/upwellings, whatever you want to call them. Pretty interesting phenomenon.

Sure have been a ton of perch in the slips this winter.
