20 perch (nice sized), seven sheepshead, 35-40' best, east of harbor (blue water tower to state line), 4 hours trolling, pearl wonderbread Stinger and two-inch, perch-colored Rapala consitently bit, but most everything tried caught fish..
Some other fishermen doing well - saw a 40-perch catch (all sizes) at cleaning station, "caught in 37' off condo."
Would be setting up for a good week, if not for north winds in forecast.

Thanks for the MC report...I fished out of Portage yesterday in the afternoon, and took a 15 fish limit but had to sort through about 75 to get to that (which is a good sign, lots of smaller fish out there, so no complaining, as it's a great sign hopefully!) Fished just past the donut, in 25-35 ft.
I will say this: trust your electronics, believe what you are seeing down there. Spent a little over an hour just searching looking at a dead graph until I found these fish. Definitely saved the day. Wish I would have pushed out a little deeper, as it sounds like others have been doing better deeper, which makes sense because that water in close is WARM: almost 80 degrees on the surface. After this N blow coming, the game starts all over again...
