Me and the daughter was out of portage from 5:30
To 9:30 went all the way to the state park and back and never mark any perch
Seen a lot of guys trolling for steel head
Maybe that why to many big fish up close

Took a boat ride with the wife on the 4th in e.c. saw what looked to be perch on the graph, did not have any bait so I chucked a bare rig out and no luck

I heard the perch action was excellent yesterday out of Portage, in the usual spots. Don't know the depth where the best action was though. Water temps look great on the buoy for perch fishing, I would guess 25-35 feet eyeballing the temps

Super action yesterday in the rain 2 limits all jumbos less that 3 hours , Today slow very few jumbos still kept 13 took 7 hours .
