TOPIC:

We went over to Monroe this Morning and fished out of Sterling SP. Erie was green as usual, and we marked fish all over the place, We went to the usual places, Buoy's 1&2 and fished with a pack of boats, with only farm animals showing up. So.... We went East to about 1/2Mile this side of the Ohio Line in 28FOW. There were a few guys trolling for Eyes, and we tried also, with only one white bass to show for it. Then, we started to see some marks on the bottom, dropped a perch rig and bang.. Hit the spot lock, and within about 3 hours, we hit a 2 Man Limit of Erie Gold. All but a few were in the 8 1/2 -91/2 inch class with a some over 11 and one over 12 inches. We only tossed back a dozen, plus a few Sheep, a Cat, and some more White Bass. Off the Lake by 5PM.

Banged the perch again last Sunday, this time they were in 15FOW out of Bolles Harbor. All were nice fish. We went back over Monday, but could not find any minnows
