Ended up with 10 / 8 inchers 2 guys. Looked likes the rest did about the same. Caught an alewife on a perch minnow. Do the perch actually feed on alewives?

Sounds like it's been real good last couple days. Been hearing rumblings about people fishing real shallow first thing in the morning, like 10 feet or less near the beach

Heard good reports from pretty much everywhere. Get out there before the weather changes!

Agreed!!! Coming outa portage from the mouth to the perch grounds was a task this morning b for 830 was a decent bite after really came to a complete stop!!! Sounded like 20-25 fow was a great starting point in other usual spots!! Good luck

While trolling nearshore around the donut and ditch yesterday I must have seen 50 boats perching. Something must be going on :)
