Hot weather, south winds... currently a hard thermocline at 39 feet in Michigan City

Looks great to get out and perch while you can.... saw a decent amount both west and east of MC last night in 15-20 ft

They were fairly scattered but it was after dark

Throwing a wild guess out there - if this thermocline persists in the 35-40 foot range, during the daytime I'd expect to see some decent size schools out there

Hoping I get a chance to get out this week, it would definitely be nice to get on some perch again.

Side question, maybe you know. What's all the piping that's been sitting in the harbor for? Looks like some of it has been drug out to the pier now.

We wasted an hour or 2 looking around east of the Port on Monday after we were done casting for kings. Should have just stayed around the ditch there was definitely perch and bait right there.
