Fished Sunday for 4 hours, in 36 ft of water with 30 other boats. Kept 20 9 inch perch, small red flies worked best.

Fished there today. 4 man limit of 9-11 inch perch. 0915 to 1300.

I also fished there yesterday off of the towboat with a buddy.
We started around 0730 and fished until 1145 or so.
We started with 6, 11-12" perch right off the bat, but then it slowed down for us.
My buddy was using perch flies that seemed to produce better for the bigger fish at first.
We started at the mouth of the river then moved to the north slip and the main river channel.
The north slip produced 3, 9-10" fish and the channel completed or limit.
I also caught a 2.5lb smallie as a bonus.
There was a lot of large commercial traffic on the river. Many of the fishing boats waited till the last possible minute to move. This is very dangerous, and it causes a lot of headaches for the commercial captains.
From past experience, I would think that the bite will only get better.

Fished today 2 boats 5 guys with limits.

Got my limit there this morning. All 9-12". Only a couple boats out while I was there. It was pretty nice.

Fished the mouth today. 24 keepers. 6 - 12 plus. wind picked up and drift became too fast. Tried the anchor and couldn't get a bite.
Went upriver lots of dinks.

2 man limit yesterday. Anchored in the middle of river. Lots of boats out.

Fished the river this morning. Got a 2 man limit in about 2 hours. Had to sort thru some small ones. Good morning to be out.

2 of us caught 30 fish yesterday in 36 feet of water at Calumet Harbor, fished about 3 1/2 hours. Got a 13 1/2 inch and a 12 inch rest 8 1/2 to 10 inch.
