Went out this morning came up short on perch on my limit by two. 19 to 26 feet of water off Mount Baldy in the black ditch 4 jumbos three over ten and the rest were 10 and under

Fished same area today also. Two man limit in 3 hours. 28fow. Mostly 9-1/2 - 10's with occasional 11". Four triples and several doubles.

did very well off dunes state park yesterday....tons of 9 inchers but about every 3-4 fish would get a jumbo...was even getting doubles of 10" or larger perch on bare perch jigs....eventually got our limits of all nice perch...was into a flurry when i only got one perch on line and decided to put the single hook with minnow down to get back into the action and got a double jumbo....one of the hooks was not baited...so i told dr worthington they are biting on bare hooks and we just kept getting nice perch on bare hooks...sorry rich but i was getting low on minnows when we found out we didnt really need them!!!....best perch day of the yr for my boat...i'm having too much fun for an old geezer....steve
