Any new info from Portage to New Buffalo? Heading out for a few trips over the long weekend, and want to consider trying if their still catching them.

Going to try out of MC this morning friday, friends got limits for 4 guys out of NB Thursday, 30ish ft, south of harbor.

I fished out of NB this morning for about 3-4 hours. Only got about 10 with a lot of dinks. Kept 3 real nice jumbos. I was in 16 fow south of the pump house. It was the only place I marked anything. Good luck if you go.

The big lake is always so dang iffy with the wind and waves. We are only in a 16' Ranger Fisherman, so everything has to be right. I hate to go and have to scramble if anything blows in. Probably just play it safe and fish inland and live the dream thru you great fellas. Always enjoy reading the reports and successes. Thanks.

Fished MC today, no bite till 10:30 then a slow bite started, ended with 16 keepers for 2 of us, black ditch area 29 to 31 ft.

Went out of MC Fri and couldn’t get a bite with the perch.  Tried both sides of the pier in places we caught them previously.  Switched up for a troll back from e of the pier and this guy hit in about 30 ft. on a spoon.   Nice end to the day.

I am glad I bailed out of going. Around 10am the wind really picked up out of nowhere! Now they got a beach hazard for Sun and Mon, so wind out of N-NW. That will for sure kill ANY hope of going now.

I saw some guys that day using a slip bobber . Anyone try that?
