Unless you're coming down 94 from Michigan to New Buffalo, Chief's in Michigan City is your best bet

Haven't heard anything yet from Portage to New Buffalo. A buddy salmon fished out of MC and steelhead fished out of Portage and checked the typical perch spots and no action, some guys were out trying but no action for them either.

trolled for steelhead from ditch to donut w/o a hit....decided to look for perch but had no bait.....just went looking......saw one pod of suspicious fish on bottom just north of donut in 30fow and went over to the ball stated bouys just west of donut and green can and marked some bait near the bottom very close to the buoys
