We tried for perch yesterday. We marked several large schools of what we assumed were perch by the condos in 29 feet. Nothing was biting. We than went to Mt. Baldy and jumped in the lake to cool off. In front of Black Ditch we marked more fish but not as many. All of a sudden our poles bent downward and we brought in two 11inchers. That was it for the day. We had no other bites all day. It was a beautiful day to be on the lake.

Yes, hope is over the horizon.
I did venture out this morning (7-11-23)launching Portage. Headed to the donut in search of the gold. Searched around marking small schools here and there. Stopped on one good mark. Few nibbles then Ddude pulled up a nice 12 incher. Guess what that was it. Didn't say out long but great morning to search. O, we did search NW of the ditch really didn't see anything promising.
