Launched at sunrise and motored out onto the flat calm lake, but froze my nads off. Looked around for about an hour or two and eventually found active fish pretty much the entire day.

Started fishing with 3 rods and within the hour I was only able to use one. Kept a limit and tosssed back prolly 25 -30 smaller fish. Ran into Dirty and he had some fish as well. Gonna try to head back out early before the south winds pick up.

Was out with Horsefly today. Overall we were not as successful as PB but they were all Jumbo's. We had to work for them with a slow pick here and there. Charlie has a knack for finding those very active fish ;) . We finished the day with 17, all jumbos 10-14", and no throw backs. Never got overly hot. We tried searching for some walleye for the first time into the night and all we caught was the wind chill haha. Feels nice to be indoors!

Dirty how did you do at the area I told you about? I'm checking the weather now debating if I should run out there for a few hours. Man it was sure nice to be out there with no other boats around or the scabs circling around me it was very relaxing.

As of now the upcoming weekend doesnt look bad.

I searched for a a half hour and saw no signs of life so gave up and went back to my original location. Could be they moved on, or were stragically dodging my sonar cone :lol:

It was nice being the only two boats out there
