fished all around the wreck from about 4-10pm we started trolling south and about 2 miles south east of the wreck right at sunset a dipsey got hit with a flasher fly. as soon as we got in the boat the down rigger went set 60' down. we got that one in the boat and reset the rigger to 60 and it wasn't 2 seconds after we got it set it was screaming. somehow after the fish stopped running the drag on the real stopped working so here we are with out biggest fish of the season hooked up and we had to keep putting the reel in free spool and thumbing it for a drag. we ended up reeling in everything and chasing the fish down. turned out to be a 17lb king. so now we decide to fish into dark the second we put the first dipsey out it gets smashed again. we ended up 4 for 7 all kings in a matter of 30 min

That 17 pounder wrecked your Zebco 33? Unbelievable! Don't trust the 202s - great for catfish but won't hold up to the speed of a king or steelhead. I thought those 33s were bullet-proof!

Shows to go you what low light will do!
