we ended up 0 for 2, trolled from about 5 30 till about 8 30 southeast of the wreck again where we got fish Saturday, same spread as Saturday. marked fish pretty steady the whole time, 65 to 75 fow. right as the sun went past the horizon we got are first hit on a rigger, second hit came on the same rod right after it was reset. was a decent steel head that made one nice jump for us and shook its self off. reset the rigger and got ready for all hell to break loose, then out of the corner of my eye I see a flash of lighting. checked the weather on my phone and see a special weather statement that says possible funnel clouds and/or tornado! not what you want to see 10 plus miles out! forecast said 0% chance of anything for the whole night when we left the house. so needles to say we did not get to fish that prime time hour, pulled everything thing in as quick as possible and shot in as fast as we could, which takes a minute on my boat cause your lucky to hit 24 mph with 4 people on the boat. turns out we would of been fine cause there was no bad weather that ever developed but everyone knows better safe than sorry. The best thing to come out of the night was the conversation I had with my fishing partner/ brother in law on the way back in, were gonna upgrade to a bigger boat!! haha something with a little more room and that can get us back in a hurry when you need to!! may be back out tonight but not for sure, its either fish or clean the boat and picture it.

Dont want to put a bad light on a bigger boat but top speed on the 36ft was about 25mph cruising speed was 18. The room is definitly nice as well as it will take the weather a little better. Good luck.
