You'd be right bigbear, but from my house in Highland, they were caught closer to home than if I drove to MC. You guys need to get past the money. The $20 bill would get you closer to figuring out my little riddle than $50 would. I did some homework, took a short drive and a risk and tried a new spot and had a good night.

Remembering I am a southerner and not familiar with all there is about the south end of the lake I was wondering about it too. I looked at a 20 dollar bill and saw the picture of Andrew Jackson. The thought of something Jackson was where you were. But then the stonewall thing got into my mind. T J "Stonewall" Jackson was a confederate general. Same last name but were relevant in two very different places in time. The back of the bill has a picture of the Whitehouse on it so again another dead end for me. I guess it is going to take a trip to the Bat Cave to solve this riddle. Move over Frank Gorshin.

Way to go Steelie Don. Jackson Park is a harbor on the south side of Chicago. It's On South Shore drive, adjacent to South Shore country club. It's big park with two lagoons that connect to the lake and a nice long pier, and plenty of parking for $2 an hour. The surrounding neighborhood is probably not the safest and there are definitely some different characters milling around the park, but the cops are present and visible.

I don't know what harbors IL plants with their fish. Jackson? Perhaps.....

Still, could make a good story for Great Lakes Angler (or Guns and Ammo) "BEST GUNS TO CARRY WHILE NIGHT FISHING CHI-TOWN KINGS."

I will need some volunteers to do the on-the-ground research. I'm not going there. Any takers?

"Chi-Town Kings" that even sounds gang related or the name of a good swing band.

You can't carry a gun in Chicago. That's why it's so peaceful over there. B)
