While I don't have first hand knowledge, it appears as water temps are still mid 50's, so I think it may be a little bit yet. Somebody's got to be first though.

I read another report that there were a couple whitefish taken off the pier in St Joe this weekend. Like most fish, there are factors beyond temps, such as shortening length of the day that trigger spawinging. I wouldn't be surprised at all if there were a few around.

Speaking of whitefish in the st joe could anyone on here help me out I'd like to know if there's some shore action for whites what time of year n where one could catch a few

If weather conditions for Saturday stay the same as predicted or improve I'll be out there trying the port wall.
Since I'm still kinda new at this big water fishing I was wondering what works best for you guys? My first and only laker last year came on a glow dodger with a matching pattern spoon.
