Made it out with the grandson & my fishing partner. Grandson boated 5 cohos, 1 throw back and lost 3 shakers. He had a blast, no real big fish but to him they were giants. Hot baits were the normal baits red/black squiggles thin finns and gold/red thin finns. Nothing in there stomachs except lady bugs as BN said in a earlier post. Rudey

Nice seeing you at the launch this morning Rudey. I believe you were at the wheel of the boat and your buddy helped me dump my boat in since I was alone at the time :)

The Iowegian trip is over. Day one, great action over at EC. Boated near limit before the wind and thunder showed up. Slow, but steady at EC on Friday until the winds blew us away. another nice catch considering my GPS was bouncing between 1.3 and 3.7 with every gust of wind. Final day today. Switched to Portage since I heard it was to be a Cluster at EC with the parking lot construction. Rumors were I was right!

Picked a lonely stretch of beach west of the mouth and pretty well kept to ourselves fishing 10 to 13 feet of water. Boated a great catch of cohos, one brown and our final fish was a 10 pound steely. Beautiful day and with all the usual suspects on the line.

Your welcome, but it was the other way around. I almost never drive my boat unless someone needs a potty break. I enjoy doing the rigging up and the netting. Rudey
