It looks like the MDNR has created a cool interactive map regarding prey fish in Lake Michigan and Huron.

Check it out but it does not have 2016 data yet.

Has anybody noticed an abundance of bottom prey and lack of palegic prey in our catches bellies? It would figure that map is pretty close then with all that white in indiana waters? On the bright side I did catch a brown with a sculpin for once instead of a goby last weekend.

Dave Warner with USGS created this (not MDNR). He has been busting his butt to come up with ways to communicate with anglers and create products like these. I think they are pretty cool and offer some nice insight

He was also the one behind the "where's the bait app" that got hampered by red tape. He is working with some people on getting that approved and improved
