Good work, thanks for the report. May head up to portage here in a bit and give it a try.

We also went out of Whiting this morning. We fished the entire inland wall to Pastrick without a bump from 8:00 AM to 10:30.

We trolled back to the ship canal and ended up catching 8 coho from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. We caught them on red thin fish and spoons. The spoon color was posted by Kick'r a few days ago. I will try to post a picture of the spoon later.

The picture is of my dad and another newbie we introduced to trolling for salmon.

It is the middle spoon.

We also caught one on a fire tiger flicker shad number 7.

Thin fish were 35' off the board with no weight.

Flicker shad was 81' on a flat line.

Spoons were between 12' and 15' feet down and about 7' back.

Bad ass looking spoons. What kind are they? Look like good hooks on them too. Always wanted a pink panties spoon.

Launched out of Portage this morning. Spent most time along the reef in 40 FOW. Water looks muddy probably almost to the state line. we ended up with 2 for 4 all on a jointed orange J-11 50 foot back off board with no weight. We pulled lines around noon.
