The striped rodent ruled in MC, at least near shore.
In between helping friend launch and tying up boat in slip, we fished a half-hour, or as long as takes to troll from Mt. Baldy to a bit east of harbor in 15 to 30 feet with zero bites. From what I heard, there was only 1 coho caught by the half-dozen boats fishing within a mile or two of MC by mid-morning.
However, one charter was into lakers at 90 feet this morning and a couple others took limits of coho in 180' on Sat. Hopefully they'll move back in this week as the water clears, but not counting on it

Water temps are still low if the water has a chance to clear there is a good chance some fish will move back in.

I agree. There is no doubt the fish will be back - and the size this year is pretty darn good.....
