Anyone heading out of Portage or Hammond tomorrow???? I'm undecided as to where to launch. The usual partner in crime is unavailable so this will likely be a solo trip.

Based on winds, I would tend to think portage would be a tad better, but mostly negligible. Fish are scattered all over but perhaps someone has a definitive opinion. I would go with what is easiest for you.

I am thinking about going out of portage tomorrow after work. About 99% sure I'm going as long as the lake looks decent. won't have the boat in the water till around 5 15 if I make it.

What a difference a week makes. Fishes out of portage yesterday and today. Two coho yesterday and a coho and King today. Could not get bit on a dodger and fly or a spoon but still using a flicker shad and j9 rapala. fished the 40 ft range and water temp 49 to 52 degrees. Limited out last mon and tues.
