So......got a way later start because we couldn't decide if it was worth it. Hit the mouth at about 6:30 at it was flat calm so thought to blast to the wreck. About a third of the way there saw the writing on the wall and turned back to try Steelies. By the time we got back pretty much everyone was gone and waves were building. 3-4 two Steelies and a drum then punted. Nice 11lbs steelie on a Fub Wobbler made it worth it. Anybody used a Fub Wobbler before?

The old Fub Wobbler, use to be a pretty hot lure up north about 30yrs ago. One of my mom's favorites, I have a few still hanging in the spoon box for those days I was throwing the kitchen sink at them.

Friend of mine is related to the maker of the Fub Wobbler but he has not done much with them in some years. Sent me a few to try and I ran two. All our fish came on them!

Stroker: I'm not sure anyone wants to see a photo of your Fub Wobbler. I would like to see what lure you used to catch the steelhead, though.

I still have 1 or 2. As stated earlier they used to be pretty hot. I pull mine out once or twice a year just for old times sake. Haven't had much luck the past few years but I might try them again.

Gentlemen, I give you...the Fub Wobbler.

In regards to BN, because it's a family show I won't share the name my buddy came up with but it does rhyme.

That is the Fub Wobbler that I know. If I recall they were made by a guy in Manistee, Mi. in the 80's, but I might remember incorrectly my wife says I do more than I like to admit.
