Nasty weather last week brought some fish in close enough to play with without having to get the boat wet. I think I got out 5 out of the last 7 days and managed to at least hook a fish or two ever trip. Been focussing on first and last light. Moving around and trying different areas. We had some cold water in close at MC with that N/E blow over the weekend. It really brought in a mixed bag of fish. Kings, Coho, Steelies are all expected this time of year. But I also heard of a couple lakers taken and saw pics of a dandy walleye and a MUSKY that had to be over 40 from Sunday. A lot of fishless casting to be done but if you put in the time the rewards are there. Cranks have been king as usual, but spinners have also been taking a lot of fish.

Nicely done John. Looks like an old Pre Rapala Storm Deep JR. Thunderstick worked its magic also.

One of our employees was the one that caught the musky. Here's a pic, and a nice king from the following night

Like southshore said, not big numbers but there are some quality fish being caught in MC right now. Water is warming up so they are headed into the harbor and creek, which is in the low to mid 60s
