Read post about casting for lakers. What do you goes use i never tried this before. Any replies would be great thanks putting boat away in a couple weeks

Blade baits are pretty effective. Soft plastics like tubes and flukes are probably the second most popular choice. You cast them out and jig them back or just vertical jig. I’ve also had luck just casting and retrieving spinners, cranks, and spoons. They seem to turn on and shutoff intermittently, you’ll mark them or see them rolling but not catch them for a hours and then they’ll turn on and you’ll catch a couple on consecutive casts.
