Got out just before sunrise and fished til 10 with a buddy of mine. Took home 7, threw back 2, and lost a nice one at the boat. Sun coming out killed the bite for us but considering my buddy spent 6 hrs at the port on shore the day before and was skunked he was really happy.

Best bite was on red/gold and green pepper thinfins with one fish on a jointed green/silver rapala on a dipsy.
Interestingly I had a hotntot with the same green pepper pattern that never got hit on a board right next to the thinfin of the same pattern, definitely hitting the top 10 feet!

Nice job. I got out too late and missed the good run - I will be back at it in about a month so hopefully it picks up again.

Nice catch kingme, Are you using any inline weight with the thin fin or just running it straight back off the board?

Nice catch kingme, Are you using any inline weight with the thin fin or just running it straight back off the board?

Running them flat off the board 50-70' back.
