Northpoint is no longer free. There's a machine over by the office just north of the ramps to take your $10 bill. Still a nice ramp and fish cleaning station. You think Waukegan is a bitch? Try going to Burnham Harbor! Twenty seven to launch, after going through city streets for about 3 miles and did I mention road construction? What was I thinking? It was awesome, however, fishing just off the Chicago lakefront. Close enough to hear the gunfire and sirens but I didn't feel threatened!
