Ran to the state line area but started east, then worked west. Ended up with 2 steelies and 2 Cohos, had another 6 or 7 on. The first set was red dodger fly in 200 copper stuck a bruiser king but broke off some how. That sucked!! We just couldn’t get em in the boat today. Not a big bite, but a few fish and bait balls around for those who wanna work that program. We thinking of making trip to Waukegan. Heard they doing well!
Btw...saw discussion of steelies having opposite colors of meat. Here are our two steelies, almost twins, caught in same area, but meat is almost white vs reddish pinkish..

Flasher fly hit 2 times. 1 off meat rig. 1 off spoon on a dipsey diver back 100'. Had a guy out with me that never fishes so it was interesting. Waves got really bad really fast The little red rocket! It's all the boat I need
