Got your buck, I suppose and back to fishing! The trout ought to be in with the water temps right in the range. Heard of some at Portage. I'm just stacking up the pelts.

You'er right, I sent the last month deer and turkey hunting. I have the jitters real bad and need to catch a big fish. I haven't started chasing fur yet, although I was think today would be a good day to call some coon. Thanks for the reply Mike.

I’ve got an electronic call. It sounds just like a garbage can being tipped over.

you can use an electronic caller like a Icotec, Primos Alpha Dog or a Foxpro call all of these have Coon Pup distress sounds on them. Then all you have to do is walk around the woods looking for holes in trees big enough for a coon to get in, set the caller behind the tree opposite the hole and turn it on. I have a couple of coon calling videos on my Youtube channel Weekend Outdoors. I went yesterday and called one tree and got one coon!
