TOPIC:

Got out of Michigan City after the rain and fished from 3:30-7:30. Once again we were targeting some kings so dedicated 5 of our 8 rods to kings.  Ran a 5, 7 and 9 color along with two dipsies.  Action was dead to start but once that sun popped out the action picked up.  We went 6/6 with 2 cohos, 2 12 lbs lakers and 2 hard charging kings (15 and 12 lbs).   My fiancée has never caught a king so we put her on both king hits and she handled those fish like a pro.  Got way more enjoyment watching her handle those kings then catching them myself.    

Both the kings and the two lakers came on our 9 color with a mag glow frog spoon.  2 coho came off a mag goldi locks spoon 30 feet out on a slide diver.  Fished mainly 45 to 60 feet of water with faster 2.7-3 seeming to be our best speed.
