Went out of Portage this morning. Marked some bait and some fish near the surface straight out in about 50 ft and trolled east and then back west to where we started. Very slow. Ended up 1/1 with a nice sized laker on a dipsy set a little above the bottom. Trolling speed 2.5-3.0. Also tried 00 dodgers and several different peanut flies and a couple spoons as well as a Brad’s Thin Fish to no avail today. Thankful for the decent lake conditions and for what we did catch.
