TOPIC:

5/14 Went out of Michigan City after work and fished 5-7:30 and mainly fished 40 to 50 feet. Ended up going 4/4 with 2 lakers, 9 lbs King and a 10 lbs Steelhead.  King hit a mag NBK out 50 on a dipsy.  Even though a smaller King he had no problem ripping out 200 feet of line once getting hooked.  The Steelhead came on SS wrecking ball on a 5 color.  We put my buddies 6 year old son on the Steelie and after an acrobatic show and a few runs he was able to land the Steelie with a little help of course.  That was his first Trout/Salmon catch so we were all on cloud 9 after that catch especially with it being on his birthday.   

5/15 Went out of City again and fished 5:30-11.  Fished 40-60 feet of water.  Marked good bait 40-50 feet with some bait balls 50-60.  Ended up landing 5 lakers and a 13 lbs King.  King hit a mag blue dolphin on a 7 color.
