Nice fishing. One question just so I'm sure, even though you're launching in Portage these are Michigan waters right, so Michigan license? Sorry for potential noob question but I've never launched out of portage yet, only EC, thanks

Ltrain, actually Indiana still just south of the stateline ended more towards Illinois than Michigan. Yes you would need a MI or IL license.

Okay thanks, and just so I'm clear -at 3 corners south is Indiana, west is Illinois and East is Michigan, correct? So if i launched out of portage due north and wanted to get to 90 feet of water then that's Michigan license.
