Was torn between perch fishing and making a run for salmon this morning. Well I forgot the minnow bucket so salmon it was. I launched at portage @5:15am and headed straight out to tri-points area. Once I hit 73’ I setup for a west troll with 2 dipseys w/ FF and 1 downrigger w/ a spoon and slider spoon. It was slow pickings until about 8:40 and then I caught 6 within 30 minutes and lost another 3. Ended the day with 5 awesome coho and enjoyed a beautiful morning on the lake.  Orange flasher with purple ghost fly caught 50% of the fish today on a dipsey #3 setting- 60’ of line out.  
Fish on!
