Left from the ditch but headed offshore into Michigan waters to see if there was any silver fish holding.  Nice temp break in about 75' of water where we were at and fished out to 120' or so with a few boats further out than us. Fished for a few hours before we had to be back to meet the wives for a boat ride.  5-7 lakers and a steelhead.

Passed 10 boats or so trolling out front of the mouth- hope they did better!

My son and I went out Saturday afternoon and ran out to the Indiana/Michigan border.... trolled around for a couple of hours and got 1 lake trout... We released it to fight another day.  It was a beautiful night on the water.

Thanks for the report. I heard some silver fish in close but not hot and heavy.
