Well it seems like a good perch class has hatched, history says that likely means a good alewife class also...but this picture I seen today in Algoma isn't a good sign for right now.

Wonder what that fish would of weighed with a normal girth rate. 42 inches in lenght makes for a very big King. Would be nice to find out if it was a 4 yr old or a 3. My guess is it was a 4 yr. old. Thanks Tim for the picture.

Seen a few 40+ inch Kings back in the late 70's early 80's come out of the lake north, they always pushed 40lbs on the scale.
