Well i heard all the good reports going out east but i was in a laker mood so i set out towards the gong where for the past two years at this time has yielded great results. 
Unfortunately I was not able to make a 3 peat. I ran cowbells with spin n glos without even a bite.  I did go 3 for 5 on cohos as i ran 8 inch spindoctors with 2" flies up high and took a fish and missed one on a blue dolphin down 25 on a dipsy. 
Not the laker bonanza I envisioned but it was nice to be on the lake after not being out in awhile due to weather and work.
