We fished in the morning leaving out of East Chicago. Our most productive area was 46-15, the best depth being 65 foot of water. We ended up going 11-18. 3 kings, 3 lakers and 5 coho. The first hour in a half we did not have a bite. I was marking tons of bait along with a good number of fish in this area. We caught 80 % of our fish trolling NE. The active fish were in a small area and I kept going thru my prior marks and getting fish. We had 2 triples in almost the exact same spot. Could not get any takers on a spoon. All are fish came on fly's. Small fly's 2 inch aqua were best. Best attractor by far was the 6 inch spin doctor with a 15-16 inch lead. A fun day on the water!
