With nothing happening up front we didn't even bother trying this morning and headed directly out to Michigan waters. NE heading out of Portage to 100' + where we trolled from 0600a to 1030a. Went 5 for 5 with a mixed bag; (1) steel, (1) fat brown, and (3) kings. Two of the kings were juvenile, approximately 6lbs, and the third was mature (pic below). Big king came on a laker cowbell rig bouncing on the bottom. LOL

That king looks pretty bright. Did it have big eggs or full sperm sacks? I'm thinking it was just a big three-year-old. Still, nice catch, either way.

With BN on that one. Great fish but not headed up stream this time of year and down that deep. Any picture of the brown? Nice work!
