Any action outside the ditch for Kings.  Or are they all in the rivers at this point?

Was out this morning 6am to 9am , trolled from mouth to #4. Marked several but "ZERO" hits.
Spoke to several other fisherman out there , nothing.
Thinking they moved up stream.
Spoke to Maggiie from the DNR research group at Portage. She also said reports of catching Kings are very very few.

Be safe out there

Appreciate the feedback.

Gonna head out in the morning.  Seems early for all the fish to in the rivers.
I will report back tomorrow.

Thanks!

They were there a few weeks ago. I went out a few days after the labor day rain and they were gone and haven't returned again.

They never came in.....I'm not sure what happened to them. Ive seen some reports of big mature coho way offshore and north of the city, but they never stagged out front so far this year.

Often seems as though there's a first wave, but after that it's a dry spell until they start showing up again. The whole run isn't done in one spurt. More fish should be trickling in. Cohos naturally spawn later than kings so should be increasing numbers of them over time, as well. With the numbers stocked and the success of the stockings in Indiana in recent years, it's never going to be lock and load, just one here and one there. Get out on nice days, enjoy whatever happens, don't beat yourself up.
