Left dock at 5. Setup just short of the stateline and 14 west. Trolled nw to se to the 17s were it was good last time. Found a pod of steelhead about 15s, worked that that a few times and went 4 for 6 there on them. Some real nice ones with acrobatics. Caught only one coho. From the sounds of it the pack of Coho have moved out to the 19s and 20s. Crew was hot and flies were annoying enough we picked up lines at 10am.

Anything orange 40 down and up spoons was the ticket. Had a heavy current in the morning going nw I have to drop to idle on 1 engine to keep around 3mph down 35 where it was 51 degrees. Then going se I had to throttle up a tad to keep it mid 2's down 35.

Anyways long story short, the big group of Coho are moving west but some steelies around offshore and boy are they fun. Ended 5 for 7 and was definitely less action than I was expecting, better than work.
