Going back up this Sun and Mon. Forecast looking excellent to get out on the big lake with light wind, and one footers or less all 3 days. I'll believe it when I see it, but gotta think positive. A buddy was there this week and said it was hot inside the harbor and PM Lake early, but the fish moved out or up the river as the week unfolded. Fine with me, I'd rather be outside the piers and away from tight traffic anyway. Gonna run a couple meat rigs this time in hopes of scoring a big one. My goal is a 20# king in the boat this year. Our fish were close to that last weekend, but just shy, and boy they sure do pull hard. I can only imagine what the screamers were we lost on our early Aug trip. Hope we find out this time! Reports to come as they unfold.
