TOPIC:

I had a rare Tuesday off and headed out of New Buffalo.  On the water by 6:30 and headed out to 60FOW.  Turned with the wind, which was out of the south.  I wasn’t quite setup and had a hit on 5 color. Lost it and it got tangled with the rigger.  Wasn’t a bad mess, but before it was sorted out I had a hit on the rigger.  As soon as I got that one (nice skam that I put back) in the boat my other rigger went.  It slowed down a bit after that.  I got a nice king an hour or so later out in around 70’. 3 were on a double white pearl spin doctor with pickled sunshine fly. Others were on spoons.  
I stopped for half hour for perch on the way in.  Off by 11:00.  
Interestingly, I forgot to eat my banana on the drive and it ended up in my food bag on the boat.  
Sometimes bad luck is good luck.  

Good deal. Will be same protocol on Friday morning for us. Bet its gonna be busy out there with the long holiday weekend!
