TOPIC:

We fished out of SJ this morning and did really well. We went 10 for 16 on mostly mature kings in 60-80 FOW. We set lines at 5:15 am and got our first fish within minutes. The bite died off around 7:30 am but then they went in the feed again around 9 am. We pulled lines at 9:30 am and headed back to port once we got our limit. 

We got the most hits on the OG Moonshine Dancing Anchovy RV in standard of the downrigger down 35-45 feet and back 35 feet. When the bite slowed later on in the morning I lengthened the leader out to 70 feet or so back and got two more kings on it. 

Fishing is good right now.
