Well, got the boat out with Fowlhook for its shakedown trip and ended up not doing near as bad as I thought we would. Put in at Pastrick late morning and worked over to the Harbor after seeing the chocolate milk color of the water everywhere else. Much cleaner back in the harbor and the winds weren't near as bad. Ended up boating 8 fish. 4 coho (one throwback) and 4 browns between the 2 of us. Most came on spoons with 1 and 1.5 oz keel weights. Not a bad day out at all. Wish we could've chased some perch but I'll survive if I'm only catching salmon.

Good to know there are some fish in the Shipper! That bodes well for the near future and offers options for safe fishing in our fickle spring weather.

What's the ramp situation at Pastrick? Do they have an of the piers in?

Yep. They do have one pier in at Pastrick and they were parking everyone outside in the new lot. At least that was the case on Saturday. There were a few other boats out but not sure how they ended up doing.
