Made it out today, on the water by 8 AM. May have gotten there a little late. Ended up going five for 10 had three throwbacks and lost two at the back of the boat.

There's never anything in their bellies in March. Maybe some green or yellow icky stuff. They've yet to figure out how to eat meat! Always felt a little sorry for them. The first time they decide to eat a minnow, they grab one of my ThinFins. Poor little fish.....

As busy as it was today at Portage, I can't imagine what it will be on the weekend.

Nice job there catfish...not trying to bust your bubble, but you were allowed 10 for your two limits. Either way, well done.

Nice job Rudey and Fish. Hoping to come next weekend for a day and a half hop, weather and waves permitting. Got the boat put back in order and new plugs and fuel filters and a new water pump impeller in the Merc 150. What did your fish fall to in the way of lures?

Don, not any single lure was hot. I think if you got it in front of them they hit it. All the usual stuff red squiggle thinn finns, j-9s in orange & firetiger and a gold Zuri lure. Best info I can give ALL of our fish came out of the dirty water by the beach area. Rudey
